OUR THOUGHTS AND LESSONS LEARNED


OUR THOUGHTS:

  • that Katrina survivors do not want to dwell on the past or blame, as that keeps them from moving forward.

  • that Katrina took what they did not need but left them with what true really matters.

  • that people want to go back and revitalize their neighborhoods.

  • that aid got faster to properties that where designated as contributing.
